GUANO APES To Release Live Album

Germany's GUANO APES will release their first-ever live CD, entitled simply "Live", on October 20 through G.U.N. Records. The disc was recorded during the sold-out and wildly acclaimed gig at the Cologne venue Palladium on May 2, 2003 and will be available in a regular jewel case as well as a limited-edition pressing featuring an 80-minute DVD (also recorded in Cologne).

GUANO APES have been nominated in the "Best German Act" category at the 10th annual "MTV Europe Music Awards", which will be presented Nov. 6 in Edinburgh. They are also up for the "Best Band" award at the Einslive-Krone Awards in Oberhausen on December 4.
